Exhibition & Awards Announcement
The WAA exhibition, running from Friday, September 6th to Sunday, November 24th, promises to be a spectacular showcase of regional artistic talent. The winners will be announced on Saturday, September 7th, adding an extra layer of excitement to the opening weekend.
Named after the mountain that the Gallery overlooks, the Wollumbin Art Award embraces artistic freedom, allowing participants to submit works in any medium without thematic constraints. This openness celebrates the rich diversity of artistic expression in our region.
Shannon is honoured to have “Torn” displayed alongside works from other talented artists in the community. This selection not only recognises his contribution to the local art scene but also provides an incredible opportunity to share his vision with a wider audience.
We invite all art enthusiasts to visit the exhibition, see Shannon’s painting, and experience the wealth of creativity the region has to offer. Your support means the world to Shannon, and he is excited to share this journey with you.
Whether Shannon brings home the prize or not, being selected as a finalist is a win in itself, and he is grateful for this remarkable opportunity.
